Types Of Wi-Fi Security Camera Systems

A Wi-Fi security camera is a great way to keep an eye on your home or business. Wi-Fi security cameras are also very affordable, making them a great option for those on a budget. In addition to deterring crime, a Wi-Fi security camera system  can also be used to monitor activity  on your property.

There are four types of Wi-Fi security camera systems:

1. The most basic type is the webcam, which is a small camera that plugs into your computer and sends video to your monitor. This type of system is very easy to set up and use, but it does have some limitations. For example, you can only view the video from your computer, and if someone unplugs the camera, you will lose the feed.

2. The next step up is the wireless surveillance camera, which transmits video wirelessly to a receiver that you can connect to your TV or computer. This type of system is more flexible than a webcam, as you can view the feed from anywhere in your home or office. However, it is important to note that wireless cameras can be hacked, so be sure to choose a secure model.

3. Another option is the IP camera, which uses your home’s internet connection to send video to a web server. This type of system offers many benefits, including the ability to view your feed from anywhere in the world with an internet connection. Additionally, IP cameras are very difficult to hack due to their encryption methods.

4. The last type of Wi-Fi security camera system is the thermal imaging camera. This type of camera uses infrared technology to detect heat signatures, allowing you to see in complete darkness. Thermal imaging cameras are very expensive, but they offer the best protection against burglars and other intruders.
